Fall Out Boy release yet another album on February 5th, just under a month from now, and they’ve once again managed to captivate many a fan with the first single release from this album. This Ain’t A Scene, It’s An Arms Race is released later on this month, just before the album release date. Each LP sounds far better than their last and their dear fan base and myself worry that one day they’ll be unable to improve much further on the great sing-along rock anthems they produce every couple of years.

Whilst ‘From Under The Cork Tree’ had started to become a little outdated not long ago, it’s back in full swing on my iPod, just waiting to be replaced by ‘Infinity on High’ within the month. All 13 tracks on that album seem faultless, whether it’s described as cheap-thrills or not. It may not quite be a Radiohead album or anything quite so clever, but there’s not one of their long-titled tracks that I manage skip. It’s only the thumping bass and repetetive call-to-arms chorus of This Ain’t A Scene… that has been distracting me recently. I shall await the new material with great expectations. A review is sure to follow shortly, but in the mean time, watch the video for This Ain’t A Scene…

B.

I know it’s a bit of a crap quality one, but if you head over to the Fall Out Boy website, there’s a link to watch the ‘proper’ one.
